While the promise of April showers bringing May flowers is a pretty picture.
The storms we’ve had this month might leave behind a
not so pretty mark on your roof, but don’t worry.

You know, oftentimes it’s the women who deal
with all of the home improvement and all of the problems in the house.
And I’m so excited that you guys are here to talk to us this morning.
but let’s talk about the storms,
because we had a lot of rain come through over the past weekend,
and a lot of people are noticing, something is wrong with my roof.

But let’s talk about, you know, what we should be looking for.

So any collateral damage, any granules that may have fallen
off your roof, shingles in your yard.
any damage to your gutters or your downspouts?
And like any, if you see any dings in your mailbox or even your car,
like if you have things on your car, it’s obvious you probably have roof damage.
So definitely look for those things.
Yeah, it’s tricky because we don’t get up there all the time, right?
So if you see other damage around the house,
that is a sign that something may have happened with the roof as well.
And I know that after big storms, you know,
a lot of people might come to the house or we might get fliers in the mail
or things like that.
What should we be looking for?
in a company that we can trust?
Well, just be careful, especially after storms.
You’ll have a lot of people come to your house.
Make sure they are local.
Get your phone out.
Get on your computer.
Look them up on Google.
Make sure they have a good rating. Okay?
And if they try to get you to sign a contract,
make sure they won’t penalize you if you do back out.
Otherwise, they don’t have your best interests at heart.

So check the ratings, look on Google,
and make sure you read through everything that you are signing.
I like that a lot.
