Hey guys, this is Nick with Rhino Roofers. Today we’ll be using this Core Storm Stop ridge vent. It’s made of high-grade plastic, so it’s hail-resistant. Here we have a small sample of the Storm Stop ridge vent. The ridge vent lays over the gap at the peak of the roof, allowing all the hot air to escape from the attic space while also keeping water from entering.

When we reach this stage of the installation, the vent is rolled out across the ridge, and the team follows up by nailing it on either side with the ridge cap shingles being nailed in at the same time. It installs pretty quickly, which means a faster build for you. It also adds a sleek, clean look to the home while being highly functional.
