STANDING SEAM METAL ROOFING IN CENTRAL TEXAS
Communication was excellent as well.
Alongside the roof repair, I decided to move forward with gutter installation. Rhino Roofers coordinated two separate install dates, keeping the process organized and on track.
After the work was completed, the crew encouraged me to call if any issues came up—which, unfortunately, they did. A minor oversight caused water to flow outside the gutter system. It wasn’t entirely in Rhino Roofers’ control, but once the issue was spotted, I initially had difficulty reconnecting with their team.
I worked through their escalation process, and eventually, the owner reached out to me directly. He explained they were experiencing some technology issues that affected communication and sincerely apologized. That gesture meant a lot. Mistakes happen, but when leadership steps up and takes accountability, it shows the company’s true commitment to its customers.
In the end, the gutters look fantastic, the leak was fixed, and I’m happy with the overall quality of the installation. While there’s still room for improvement in their follow-up process, I’m confident they’re working on it—and I believe they’re headed in the right direction.
I highly recommend Rhino Roofers and plan to use them again for future roofing projects.
Thanks again to the entire Rhino Roofing team for resolving the issue and being open to feedback. I’ll be in touch soon about the next project. Be ready—it’s going to be a big one!

Starting with Levy our person who came out to do the free inspection, he went out of his way to make sure we were helped.

The whole office was on top of everything and made it as easy as possible for us.
And last the installation crew, Victor the project manager was the kindest person and made sure we were informed about every step. The installation crew was awesome they worked hard to a high quality standard and took great care to tidy up the site after completion. We can highly recommend Rhino Roofers!
They were so professional and quickly took pictures so I could see with my own eyes the condition of my roof & chimney. Praise the Lord I had no damage and I felt so secure knowing that my home is in good condition!
I will call Rhino Roofers when I need roofing repair or replacement. I also will recommend them to anyone who needs to have their roof checked out.

Rhino Roofers offers metal roofing systems made from copper, corrugated steel, aluminum, and corrugated roofs.
Standing seam functions exactly as it sounds. The seams are higher than the roof because they are interlocked. This is a unique aesthetic feature that makes standing seam metal roofing more appealing than other types of metal roofs.
You have to the ability to customize your roof in many ways, including design-like customizations that could affect the strength of the seams.
Types
These roofs comes in a variety of seam types. Each one interlocks differently, and they all provide different kinds of protection. Depending on the environment, you can choose specific seam types to suit your needs.
- Snap-Lock
Snap-lock roofing systems have special edges that snap together with a male and female leg. Because they snap together with a click in place, standing seam metal roof contractors don’t have to do any manual work. This saves labor and results in lower costs. Snap-lock roofing is suitable for any climate as long as it’s installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Mechanical Lock
The edges of mechanical lock roofing systems can also be aligned together. They need to be welded together using a mechanical seamer. You can choose from single-lock or double-lock profiles to provide insulation and better performance in colder climates.
- Batten Panel
The edges of batten panel roofing systems are welded together by a metal cap. Some caps are more secure than others, depending on the type. The roofing system’s ability to withstand inclement weather conditions will improve the more secure it is.
Advantages
Standing seam metal roofs are constructed with interlocking panels that prevent fasteners from being exposed to the elements, which can lead to deterioration over time. Metal roofing systems can be durable, but fasteners may need to be replaced. Standing seam roofs don’t have to be replaced because there are no exposed fasteners.
Standing seam metal roofs are also different than other roofing systems. The panels don’t need to be pinned down so that they can expand or contract with the weather. This allows for greater flexibility and less chance of them breaking.
Like all metal roofing, these roofs are durable, customizable, and long-lasting. It’s also eco-friendly and efficient.
Metal roofing systems also require fasteners. This means that they are not easy to maintain. However, you will need to replace any damaged or loose fasteners. Your roof won’t require any fasteners to go through the metal so this maintenance is not necessary.
While maintaining a standing seam roof is an essential task, it requires less maintenance. You should only inspect for low-hanging branches, metal, or other debris, and then clean it up.
Cost
Because of the very high quality, this type of roof is expensive. Because of its prefabrication, it is one of the most costly types of metal roofing. Standing seam metal roof installation requires specialized rolling techniques. Few contractors are skilled in this process.
Installation is labor-intensive, which adds to the price. You’ll get a professional standing seam metal roof company that will provide you with a warranty and a durable, long-lasting roof.
